Mason jars lids
made fun with colored dinosaur toys.
To play
or not to play? I would say definitely to play. So why not play with mundane
things to make it fun and cheerful!
That's
what we exactly do in this quirky, up cycling project - in which the lids of
mason jars become our canvas of creativity.
The
technique is real simple - we use old dinosaur play mates (or we could use any
animal). The animal size is important; it should be as per our lid size - not
too big nor too small. Once we decide on the perfect animal toy, simply stick
them in standing position on your lid with a strong adhesive bond. And allow it
to dry.
Once
hardened and strong, then prime it and leave it overnight. Then it's all
about painting it with colors of your choice. We prefer to go pastel: to give
our fiery dinos, some muted playfulness. Let the paint dry. And you have
created your own mini-jurassic world.
Fill your
tyrannosaurus, stegosaurus and brontosaurus jars with your favourite candies or
stock up your stationery in it. But do make sure you flaunt your super cool
& super colorful dinosaur jars.
