The Perfume Bar

It’s been a week full of first time's and here comes one more. We were asked to make giveaways for a very close friend’s Mehendi function. After much thought, we zeroed down on the idea for gifting perfumes. But this had to be done with a twist. Why not make it an activity for the guests.

A perfume is a combination of 3 notes; Base note, Middle note and Top note. Making a perfume is a simple process of mixing all the 3 notes. We set up a counter of five fragrances under each note and put up posters to explain the mixing process. All the guests had to do, is follow the instructions which would help them create their own perfume. Each bottle was then packed in a sack and tagged with the wedding label.
To be honest, this was the Bride’s idea and her guests totally enjoyed this experience. It was a unique way to personalize the gifts. Thank you Hiral for your faith in us. Congratulations to the beautiful couple. Stay blessed.

I ‘Cane’ Do It

Cane + Wicker decor inspiration: to add some affordable exoticism to your home

Cane is a popular choice for home decor & furniture. They are a great way to add inexpensive yet exotic value to your home. Like bamboo, they are lightweight and extremely durable for both outdoors and indoors.
Rattan species of trees encompasses hundreds of types of palms, cane furniture is made from the outer layer of a palm and wicker is made from the inner core. Rattan furniture has been popular throughout the world for a few hundred years and dates back to 2000 B.C. when it was used to weave chests and chairs in Egypt.

The versatility of cane and wicker products extends their value from making chairs to desk lamps to flower jugs to trays. They particularly go well with Tropical or Asian themed rooms.
Durable, inexpensive, sturdy and definitely great to look at – these are the few properties of cane which has made it stand the test of times, and till today it is loved and used by all.

SS / Heart Initials Lamp

A lamp made with wood and love!

We feel that with lamps we can create magic at home. And to extend the love that our dear friends Sukruti and Shreeram have for one another, we made a special lamp for them as a wedding gift.

We took the initials S-S of the couple and designed a symbolic love logo with the the mirror images of the 'S' forming a heart in between. A coat of dark wood polish along with magenta paint hues give the lamp a sophisticated rich look. And now all we need is lights that highlight the heart shared between S&S.

The couple absolutely loved the lamp. All we can say is that we tried to capture their love in the heart of this lamp.

The Better Letter Box

With a tattered old letter box as our starting point – we went about to deliver a totally new funky look to it. It all started with a coat of paint. Then to add some chutzpah, we stuck an eclectic color print on the letter box flap. The drama of the sticker completely lifts the mundane box. Now comes the fun bit – we slinged in two brown belts on either sides to give a buckled up bag effect.
