The ‘S’ Lamp

Alphabet lamp filled with nuts of all sizes.

By now we all know that we have a soft corner towards making lamps; especially lamps that are personalized to represent oneself.

To create this lamp we cut out a chunky piece of wood into an angular 'S' design. Then we coated the cut-out with a viscous paint of black. To top it up and give the lamp a quirky look we pasted hardware nuts of all sizes randomly onto the 'S' canvas.

In our project we create an alphabet lamp for a client who had seen this concept lamp of ours at our exhibition. She wanted to customize the lamp with an 'S' design that depicts her names' initial.

Fo
r the lighting bit, a string of daylight LED was pasted over the alphabets' periphery.  With some final soldering, wiring and plugging, the lamp was ready to stand and shine.

Strong & smart…what do you think of our nut-filled lamp art?
