A branched twig converted into a jewelry/ key holder
I found this regular leafless branch lying de-rooted in my
building compound. I thought, If used aesthetically, the angular branching of
these twigs would provide a great visual treat for our homes.
So, I took the branch, and firstly, axed it to the required
size. Also the length of the branches was cut to provide good visual balance.
Then orange colored wool was wrapped around the branches till a sizeable mass
was made. These wool cocoons would act
as bumpers to help make sure the keys or jewelry do not slide down; also
earring can be pierced in them to stay. The branch is then potted with moss for
stability. And that’s about it!
The potted-branched twig looks like a quasi tree: with
colorful sprouting which helps lift the dead wood and provides the
functionality for home use. Put this blossoming tree on your dresser – and let
you and your reflections admire the beauty of it.
